Jungle King Kian Returns to the Forest

Former member of the multimillion selling band Westlife, Kian Egan has been announced by Boyzone as a special guest performing at their Forest Live dates this summer.

Westlife’s Kian was crowned King of the Jungle in 2013, winning ‘I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!’  So far, 2014 has seen the release of Kian’s debut solo album ‘Home'  - which is currently enjoying chart success with a Top 10 release in both the UK and Ireland.

Recognised as one of the most successful bands of the past two decades, Boyzone’s many accomplishments include twenty one singles, seven albums, twenty five million record sales, hundreds of gigs and millions of memories. A phenomenal start to a musical career, they scored 16 consecutive top five singles which included six number one’s ‘Words’, ‘A Different Beat’, ‘All That I Need’, ‘No Matter What’, ‘When The Going Gets Tough’ and ‘You Needed Me’.

Without commercial branding or sponsorship, Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission bringing music to new audiences. Generously, the income generated from ticket sales is spent on improving the local forests for both the community and wildlife.
