Bath Rugby Captain Stuart Hooper Extends Contract

Bath Rugby have announced that Club Captain, Stuart Hooper, has signed a one year extension to his contract.

A man greatly admired by his peers, Hooper's commitment is great news for Bath as the Club looks to senior figures to nurture and educate the younger members of what is an extremely promising squad.

Hooper commented: "This was not a tough call for me. I love leading this squad and am proud to do so, so signing on again was a great moment. Bath is a very exciting place to be, and playing my part in helping this great Club grow is a genuine honour."

Head Coach, Mike Ford, added: "Hoops is a fantastic leader and has real presence, so to extend his contract is a big plus for us. He is massively respected by everyone at Bath Rugby and is playing arguably the best rugby of his career. Needless to say, we are extremely pleased he will be here next season."
