MATCH REPORT: Wealdstone 0-1 Bath City

Bath City got back to winning ways as a result of a 1-0 win at Wealdstone on Monday night.

Andy Watkins' goal ten minutes before half-time won Bath the three points at Grosvenor Vale, but the game was slightly overshadowed by a nasty-looking injury to Bath's Ryan Broom.

With barely half an hour played, Bristol Rovers loanee Broom was involved in a nasty collision that led to him being substituted and sent to A&E.

Broom suffered a gash and was stiched up in wound dressing, but he was ok.

It was a well-worked set piece that got Bath their solitary goal that earned their first win in eight. Manny Monthe headed on a whipped in free-kick and Watkins was there to apply the finish.
