Six Nations: Top Moments of Round Three

As the rugby world gears up to welcome back the Six Nations for round four of the 2016 test this weekend, Total Sport takes a look at some of the biggest moments from the previous fortnight.

Stuart Hogg's god-like offloading against Italy

The type of thing you try endlessly in training, but it never comes off. The Scotsman expertly drew in his opponent before delicately whipping the ball away at the crucial moment.

Like a fined oiled machine, Scotland were then able to breeze through the back line and over the try line with comfort, as Tommy Seymour placed down the ball while glaring at Hogg with admiration.

A top example of practiced and polished technique, take note kids!

Exquisite Robshaw pass sends Watson over the line for England

The Red Rose turned it on at Twickenham when it mattered most, defeating holders Ireland and continuing their unbeaten 2016 series.

Chris Robshaw's fine passing makes our next moment on the list, after a quick passage of nimble hand work and quick thinking saw the former captain unleash Anthony Watson.

The Bath Rugby man made no mistake in hitting full stretch and launching himself over the line to get England firmly back into the tie on the 58th minute. Check out the play in all its majesty below:

Billy Vunipola crashes through the Ireland right flank

The Saracens' back row has been in inspired form since his return to the England set-up, and decided to exert some of his brute force against the Irish at Twickenham.

Collecting the ball of the back of a rolling maul, Vunipola did what Vunipola does best and decided to enter destruction mode, powering past Andrew Trimble before eventually being thwarted by a two man duo of Conor Murray and CJ Stander.

A full throttle Vunipola travelling at maximum velocity truly is a sight to behold:

Maro Itoje has the rugby world talking

It's generally hard to overlook new boy Maro Itoje, his 6ft 5in, 18st frame ensure it's quite a difficult thing to do.

Making his debut during England's crunch clash against the Irish, Itoje displayed a maturity beyond his years, leading some decorated names to tout his name as a potential England captain and leader.

Not shying away from the occasion, Itoje was not afraid to pick up the ball and run... hard. Bounding at his opponents like a rampaging bull, the Saracens man has put himself firmly in the international frame.

George North gets himself in among the tries once again

The big winger is an ever presence for Warren Gatland's international side, and he continued to emphasise his importance with a valiant showing against the French.

A deep kick down field was seized upon by an advancing Wales and North wasted no time in capitalising upon a mis-kick by France's Jules Plisson.

Turning defence into attack, North will continue to be a very valuable piece for Gatland during this year's test:
