Josh Birch - Chief of Sports

Born and raised in Southport, Merseyside I have had a passion for sport since I could walk.

Studied Sports Journalism at Liverpool John Moores University and fell in love with writing about sports once it was clear I wasn't talented enough to play professionally in any capacity. 

I have been working in the content sphere for a few years and recently started a blog covering Formula 1 and Football. I can't wait to take on the role of Chief of Sports and bring top-quality content to Total's audiences.

Outside of writing, I enjoy gaming, watching any and all sports, going to a weekly pub quiz and spending time with my family, especially my 15-year-old Labrador Amber. When the weekend comes, I love going to watch the home games of my local side Southport with my Dad although this season has not been an enjoyable experience so far.
