The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa Launches a Millinery Masterclass in time for Ladies Day

Five-star The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa, Bath is launching a millinery masterclass with expert milliner Annabel Lewis of V V Rouleaux for those seeking the perfect bespoke creation for the racing season.

This June, under the guidance of V V Rouleaux, guests will be shown how to edge, shape and wire their very own creation that’s sure to be a stand out accessory at this summer’s top social events.

The millinery masterclass will take place on 6th June at 1pm at The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa, with a two-hour instruction during which guests will learn about the tradition of millinery, the theory and the craftmanship of this exceptional art. The masterclass will teach guests the top millinery tricks for creating a beautiful headpiece. Guests will learn the art of shaping and stretching sinamay, wiring feathers and how to add the most spectacular finishing touches and trimming to create a piece worthy of the Bath Racecourse. With couture flowers, swooning feathers, and gorgeous trims in 100 colours, V V Rouleaux has all of the ingredients to make a one-of-a-kind hat or fascinator. Guests can celebrate their millinery accomplishments with a sumptuous afternoon tea on the hotel lawns; the perfect finish to an afternoon of beautiful craftmanship.
