Liz Hutchings - Founder & MD

Founder and Managing Director of Total Guide to, Liz launched the business in 2012 with a simple vision: to create trusted local digital guides that connect people with the very best businesses, events and experiences in their area.

What began as a single regional platform has grown into a network of local guides across the South West and beyond, alongside the expansion of Total Marketing and Total Business Network. Today, Liz is based in Dorset, where she primarily leads the growth of Total Guide to Dorset while continuing to oversee the wider business.

Recognised for her entrepreneurial vision and passion for supporting local communities, Liz has received numerous business awards throughout her career, while Total Guide to has earned recognition for its innovative approach to local marketing, digital publishing and community engagement.

Away from work, Liz enjoys making the most of the outdoors with her husband and daughters, Florence and Phoebe. Whether she's running, surfing, taking on endurance challenges or exploring the Dorset coastline, she brings the same energy and enthusiasm to life as she does to business.
