Midfielder Smith delighted to agree Bath City deal

New Bath City midfielder Zac Smith was pleased to get his deal at the club over the line head of the 2024/25 season.

The former Bristol City youngster, who had previously been on loan with the club back in 2020, returns to Twerton Park after three seasons at Taunton Town.

Speaking to Bath City’s official YouTube channel, Smith said: “I’m happy to get it finally done. I’ve been in training through pre-season and it’s been really good. I’m just happy to get it done now.

“It’s always nice to get a few goals for the season. I don’t know how many I manage but I’ll definitely have a little target of a few.

“Personally, as long as the team succeeds I really think we can push higher than last year, maybe even manage to get promotion.”

National League South Bath kick-off their competitive fixture schedule away at Boreham Wood on Saturday, August 10^th.
