The Cut - Elimination Run

The Cut - Elimination Run is a timed elimination-format running event at Pomphrey Hill with seven 3km rounds and progressively tighter cut-offs.

Date: Sunday, 30 August 2026

Time: 12.00pm - 3.00pm (doors open 11.15am)

Overview: A new elimination race format where each round is 3km (two laps of Pomphrey Hill). Runners must finish each round before the cut-off time; the cut-off reduces every round. Survive all seven rounds to beat The Cut.

Round structure (3km each):

• Round 1: 20:00 (6:40/km)
• Round 2: 18:00 (6:00/km)
• Round 3: 16:00 (5:20/km)
• Round 4: 14:00 (4:40/km)
• Round 5: 12:00 (4:00/km)
• Round 6: 10:00 (3:20/km)
• Round 7: 08:00 (2:40/km)

Included: free gels, music, café hatch, free parking, finisher rewards, male and female changing rooms.
