Bath Racecourse Set the Pace for 2014

Having already topped 2013?s sale figures, Bath Racecourse are pleased to announce they have exceeded expectations for non-race day event sales this year.

The impressive horse racing venue hosts 20 race fixtures between April and October and can be hired for a huge variety of events when the course is not in use. The venue can host all kinds of events; from conferences and meetings to parties and weddings. The race ground has already hosted events for Waitrose, music festivals and the Bath Pride Awards.

Jo Hall, Executive Director for Bath Racecourse said: "As a venue which only races on 20 days of the year it is so important that we maximise our opportunities to trade. Our non-raceday business has grown exponentially in recent years and we're now hosting more events than ever before.

Key to this year’s success has been the development of a catering department that went live in 2013. This enables the ground to work more closely with clients and to suit individual requirements and budgets in a more effective way – which has also assisted a rise in new business.

We also have a very hard working and dedicated team delivering the events and so from start to finish we’re offering an exceptionally high level of service that means more clients are re-booking."
