Start-up Business and IP Information Clinic provides a free 60-minute one-to-one session with a Business & IP Centre (BIPC) information specialist. The clinic supports people starting a business or becoming self-employed, and those with intellectual property (IP) questions.

Format: 60-minute 1-to-1 appointments (multiple dates). Remote sessions may be available on request.

Support can include:

• Guidance on first steps
• Business plan templates
• Help using specialist online resources for market research, company data and finance sources
• Signposting to further business support
• Information on trade marks, copyright, patents and design rights (information only; not legal advice)

Sessions are stated as free for Bristol residents and businesses based in Bristol, and attendees must complete a BIPC registration form before a booking is confirmed.
