Guyers House Restaurant up for Prestigious Award

Guyers House Restaurant has been announced as a finalist in Wiltshire Life Magazine?s Best Restaurant award.

The winner will be announced at a glamorous awards dinner at Marlborough Town Hall on Friday of this week.

Previous finalists have been Michelin starred Lucknam Park and The White Horse Inn in Compton Bassett. 

Housed in the most beautiful 16th century building, the restaurant provides stunning food in a traditional and relaxed environment.  

The menu includes home grown and locally sourced ingredients with particular emphasis on provenance and sustainability.

Head Chef Gareth John’s food philosophy is to create deliciously crafted dishes which are classic with a modern twist. 

With a background in international cuisine, working previously in Dubai, the United States and Guernsey, his style draws from his experiences but uses classic English ingredients.
