Bath Children’s Literature Festival 2026

This autumn’s festival will run from Friday 25 September to Sunday 4 October, bringing some of the biggest and best loved names in the world of children’s books to a family audience of thousands.

The BIG programme reveal is on Wednesday 1 July.

Bath Children’s Literature is supported, for the second year, by Longleat, the Wiltshire stately home and safari park. It is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year of being the first drive-through safari park outside Africa.

Waterstones is the festival’s official bookseller.
