Tower Thursdays: Children's Summer Activities

Enjoy free outdoor craft sessions and creative activities for children every Thursday this summer at Beckford's Tower.

Families are invited to enjoy Tower Thursdays, a series of free children’s activities taking place at Beckford’s Tower and Museum during the summer holidays.

Running every Thursday from 30 July to 20 August 2026, each session offers a different hands-on activity designed to inspire creativity and imagination.

Activities include:

• 30 July: Origami flowers
• 6 August: Miniature gardens
• 13 August: Stained-glass butterflies and flowers
• 20 August: Creative play

Each session begins at 10:30am and finishes at 12pm. Families should arrive at the paddocks by the Grotto, located in the field furthest from the Tower.

The activities are free, but advance booking is required. Beckford’s Tower also recommends checking its events page for upcoming family activities during school holidays.
