Snapped: RC250 Picnic in the Park

The Royal Crescent, one of Bath's most iconic landmarks is celebrating it's 250th Anniversary this year. On 29 July 2017, locals and tourists were treated to to a summer celebration of a picnic in the park to mark the historic occasion.

There were open invites to take a picnic along to the lower lawn of the Royal Crescent to enjoy the views and entertainment which consisted of performances throughout the Crescent based on the stories of people who have lived in this world famous building. 

The event demonstrated what the crescent might have been like in the day with tradespeople, servants and gentry all in typpical Georgian dress.
