Your Total Guide To lifestyle

Spend your Evening Well (No Effort Required)

We all know someone who leaves work and goes straight to the gym or an evening class, on a road to self-improvement that the majority of us can only dream of mustering the effort for.

But those of us who tend to make a beeline for the sofa will recognise the slightly guilty feeling of having wasted the evening – especially in a city so beautiful as Bath. And as the evenings get longer, the excuses diminish and the sense of regret only increases.

Good news: there are other ways to relax of an evening. Ways which don’t involve a Friends rerun and half a family bar of chocolate in your PJs.

Trust us – and grab your swimwear…

Float Away with a Twilight Package

Many people like to enjoy a relaxing bath in the evening. But imagine enjoying stunning views while you did it?

Thermae Bath Spa offers a Twilight Package Monday to Friday, which includes a light meal in the on-site Springs Restaurant, and a couple of glorious hours of relaxing in the warm mineral-rich waters of the Rooftop Pool, the Minerva Bath, and the therapeutic sensory rooms of the Wellness Suite.

Thermae Bath Spa in the late afternoon and evening is a different place to daytime. As the sky slowly changes colour, the atmosphere shifts and the natural beauty of Bath is enhanced. The honey-coloured stone of Bath’s buildings mellows to a deeper hue. And as you bathe in the rooftop pool, all along the beautiful Bath Skyline you’ll spot lights coming on.

Twilight package - £48pp or £90 for two 3-hour session includes:

  • Access to Rooftop Pool, Minerva Bath and Wellness Suite
  • A light meal and a glass of wine, beer or juice in Springs Restaurant
  • Robe, towel and slippers

Go and experience the magic for yourself; if you time it right you might catch the sunset from the Rooftop Pool, when the lights in the Rooftop Pool come on, the Abbey lights up, and the multi-coloured cube lights of the indoor Minerva Bath dress the street outside in colour.

Once you’ve had your fill of the beautiful views, visit the Springs Restaurant and choose from several delicious dishes available, such as Pan-Fried Salmon or Twice-Cooked Pork Belly.

And don’t forget to explore the state of the art Wellness Suite which includes: Experience Showers, Infrared Room, Roman Steam Room, Georgian Steam Room, Ice Chamber and a Celestial Relaxation Room. Don’t miss the subtle nods to Bath’s history in each area.
