Summer Evenings and Late Dining at the Roman Baths and Pump Room

The Roman Baths and Pump Room are open late this summer, offering visitors a chance to see the famous Great Bath illuminated by torchlight, and enjoy late evening dining in the Pump Room (last table booking 8.30pm) until 31 August 2019.

The historic site takes on a magical atmosphere as the daylight fades, the flaming torches are lit around the Roman Baths, and dinner is served. Visitors can walk around the ancient Great Bath, see the ruins of the Temple of Sulis Minerva and explore the fascinating museum, before adjoining upstairs to experience Searcys’ deliciously fresh summer menus, accompanied by our resident pianist.

For those who want to soak up the special atmosphere with a glass of fizz in hand, Searcys’ pop-up bar beside the Great Bath will be serving Prosecco and soft drinks every evening from 6pm to 9.15pm.

Admission to the Roman Baths is free for Bath and North East Somerset residents with a Discovery Card.

Don’t miss the unique opportunity to experience late evening dining, available until August 31 only. Last orders will be taken at 8.30pm – click here to book a table online or call 01225 444477.

Alternatively, The Roman Baths Kitchen offers a more informal setting with alfresco dining. Book a table online or call 01225 477877.
