Bath City end campaign with a point at nine-man Aveley

Goals from Jesse Nwabueze and Scott Wilson proved not enough for Bath City, as they ended their National League South campaign with a 2-2 draw at nine-man Aveley.

The hosts took the lead through Luke Holness after just seven minutes at Parkside Stadium – before seeing both Jason Ring and Harry Beadle sent off before the hour mark.

Nwabueze levelled from the penalty spot for Darren Way’s (pictured) Romans, before David Kawa put relegated Aveley into a shock lead.

Wilson however popped up with a leveller four minutes from time to ensure Bath picked up a point.

They finish 15th in the league table, having totalled 57 points from 46 games.
