TotalGuide To Bath attend Bath Rugby's shirt sponsor evening

A fantastic evening of laughter, great food, and light-hearted competition took place between players and sponsors alike as Bath Rugby hosted their annual shirt sponsors dinner at the luxurious Walcot House. TotalGuideto Bath were in attendance for the fun-filled event.

Champagne on arrival set the tone for the evening as ladies and gentlemen donned their best dresses and sharpest tweed jackets for what would be a night not quickly forgotten.

As the players of Bath rugby arrived with guests and sponsors filtering through the lavish downstairs bar that was fully stocked with tipples to suit each individual, there was a buzz of excitement as some of rugby’s biggest fans got the chance to get up close and personal with the clubs superstars.

Introductions complete, it was time for the main event as attendees were ushered upstairs to a wonderfully laid out first-floor dining area decorated with lavish long wooden tables and fine silver cutlery as the room filled with jovial atmosphere.

With everyone finally having taken their seats next to their chosen sponsored player, scrum-half Will Chudley being ours, Bath Rugby head coach Todd Blackadder stood to say a few words, before some of the squads big name players including Jamie Roberts and Nathan Catt got their chance on the microphone.

Speeches finished after receiving a great reception from a crowd waiting on each and every word from the coach and players, it was time for the games.

A truth or false game consisting off player testimonies resulted in laughter filling the room from every corner, whilst a guess who picture quiz highlighted the competitive nature between rugby’s best athletes whether on or off the pitch.

After speeches were done and games were finally complete, with some disagreement over who should’ve won, dinner was served.

The fantastic chefs of Walcot House created a spectacular selection of meats, vegetables, and all the trimmings in between as silence finally fell over the room with diners enjoying what was a fantastic well-prepared meal catering to each individuals needs.

Early morning training sessions saw the team’s players leave shortly after plates were cleared, but a brilliantly hosted evening by Bath Rugby and Walcot House led to all that attended leaving happy, well-fed, and ready for bed.
