Bath Rugby legends to face all star Bath CC in cricket clash

Bath Rugby stars past and present will be taking on an all star Bath County Cricket side on Friday, July 15, all in aid of national disability charity United Response.

You will be used to seeing the expert handling the skills of the men in Blue, Black and White on a weekly basis at the Rec, but that's with a rugby ball.

The likes of Ross Batty - who captains the side - Matt Garvey and Matt Banahan will be exhibiting their skills with a bat and ball, facing a Bath Cricket Club XI comprising captain Lloyd Davis and Greg Hay. 

In the match managerial positions, Bath CC will be guided by Rob Maggs while Bath Rugby will look to Matt Powell to steer them to victory.

The day is set to be an enjoyable, action-packed occasion with the gates opening at 5pm and food and drink available before proceedings get under way at 6.
