Bath Rugby name team for Scarlets clash

Darren Allinson and Paul Grant will make their Bath Rugby debuts in the Anglo-Welsh Cup game against Scarlets tomorrow evening at the Parc y Scarlets, kick-off 19:05.

Allinson takes his place at scrum-half, forming a new half-back partnership with fellow Welshman Rhys Priestland. Jack Wilson and Jeff Williams – both try scorers in the loss to Leicester Tigers last Friday – continue out wide on the wings, as Tom Homer returns at fullback and Dan Bowden and Matt Banahan combine in the centres.

Grant comes into the side at number eight, forming a back row with Club Captain Guy Mercer on the openside flank and Zach Mercer shifting to the blindside flank. Matt Garvey starts in the engine room alongside Elliott Stooke, with Tom Dunn and Max Lahiff joining Beno Obano up front.
