Bath Rugby sign Sam Underhill from Ospreys

Young back-rower Sam Underhill has swapped Ospreys for Bath Rugby.

Underhill, who is 20 years of age, was born in America but has represented England at under-18 level.

He spent two years at Gloucester, between 2013 and 2015, but only managed two appearances for the Kingsholm Stadium-based club before moving on to Ospreys.

Due to a shoulder injury, he only featured for the Ospreys eight times this campaign but despite that it is understood Bath have paid a transfer fee, due to Underhill having one more year to go on his contract.
