Bath Rugby's Jonathan Joseph scores try in record-equalling England win
England equalled their record of 14 consecutive Test wins on Saturday, against Australia, and Bath's Jonathan Joseph was part of the history.
The Red Rose romped past Australia, 37-21, with two tries from Joseph being pivotal to England's victory which sealed an unbeaten 2016 for Eddie Jones' men in the process.
Scotland, Italy, Ireland and Wales were the first four teams to be defeated by England this year, and wins against France and Wales again followed before a trio of triumphs against Australia and then the Autumn Internationals against South Africa, Fiji, Argentina and now the Wallabies for a fourth time.
Sefanaia Naivulu gave Australia the lead at Twickenham in the seventh minute with his try, that was converted by Bernard Foley.
Foley scored a penalty to extend Australia's advantage to ten which, if only temporary, may have England sweating over their record.
Owen Farrell knocked over two penalties to get England back in the game at 10-6 and the mini-turnaround was complete on the half-hour mark when Joseph latched on to a big kick up field to score his, and his country's, first try of the contest. Farrell converted.
Another two penalties from Foley made it 13-16, which was the half-time score.
Joseph then assisted a try in sensational fashion - a clever side-footed kick pass picked Marland Yarde for try number two which, with the conversion, had the score at 20-16.
Ben Youngs scored a super solo effort - converted again - and England were in cruise control in the capital.
Later on, with the score at 30-21, Joseph raced forward to score his second try and to cap it off his Bath teammate George Ford was allowed to convert, which he did so, for 37-21.
