Ash 'excited' to seal permanent switch to Bath City

Frontman Brad Ash was “ecstatic” to have signed for Bath City next season and insisted: “The fans have been amazing from the moment I got here.”

The 29-year-old arrives at Twerton Park for 2025/26 following a successful loan spell with Darren Way’s side from Torquay United last season.

Speaking to Bath City’s official YouTube channel after confirming his move, Ash said: “I’m ecstatic to be fair. I’ve been speaking to Daz and I am really excited to be back here.

“I loved every second. From the moment I came in. It’s a special club, so to be back here for this season, I am really excited about it.

“The fans have been amazing from the moment I got here, so I can’t wait.”

A statement from the club said: “We are delighted to announce that Brad Ash has agreed to sign on a permanent deal for season 2025/26 following his recent loan spell with the club.

“Brad has a very successful period with the club in the final four months of the season, scoring seven goals in 19 appearances, playing with a smile on his face and becoming a firm favourite with supporters.

“Welcome back to Twerton Park, Brad.”

Bath City finished 15th in National South last season, with 57 points from 46 games.
