Bike Maintenance Practice Session with Yate Community Bike Hub

A free interactive bike maintenance practice session in Yate, covering essential safety checks and basic repair skills with volunteer support.

A free 90-minute interactive practice session on basic bike maintenance, aimed at people who have attended previous training courses. Participants can bring their own bike or practice on provided bikes.

• Essential roadworthiness checks (M Check)
• How to remove a wheel and repair a puncture
• Lubrication: how, where and why

Clothing that can get dirty is recommended, and gloves are useful. Hand-washing facilities are available. Suitable for age 12+ when accompanied by an adult (tickets required for all attendees). Places are limited and advance booking is recommended. A suggested donation of £5 on the night is welcomed to support future sessions.
