Cheddar Gorge 10Km Trail

The Cheddar Gorge 10km Trail is a scenic and technical race from Black Rock featuring the Hell Steps, cliff paths and valley trails in Somerset.

The race starts at Black Rock with dramatic views along Cheddar Gorge. The course offers a varied challenge with meadows, woodland, rocky sections, steps and cliff-edge running, including the famous Hell Steps.

Course notes: After approximately 2.5km, 10km runners continue straight ahead to climb the Hell Steps, then traverse woodland and open viewpoints. The route includes historic mining landscapes and a final climb out of Velvet Bottom before finishing with a lap around the event area. Approximate elevation change is 240m across the 10km route.
