Cheddar Gorge 6km

A 6km trail race around Cheddar Gorge featuring varied terrain, climbs and dramatic views as part of the Cheddar Gorge Challenge weekend.

The race starts at Black Rock with views along Cheddar Gorge. The course offers a mix of open meadows, rocky outcrops, steps, woodland and cliff-edge running, creating an all-round trail challenge in one of the UK’s best-known landscapes.

Minimum age: 12

Course highlights:

• Flat opening section from the event village before the route becomes more technical
• A split at around 2.5km where 6km runners branch off to climb up the valley
• Rejoining longer routes later and returning via feed station area and final finish section
