Darren Allinson joins Bath Rugby on loan

Bath Rugby have signed Darren Allinson on loan from London Irish, the club have revealed today.

Allinson signs a short-term deal at the Recreation Ground and will join up with the sqaud later this week.

He has made over 120 appearances for London Irish in the six years he has been at the club, since he joined them in 2010 from the Cardiff Blues. In the process, he scored 19 points.

Todd Blackadder, Director of Rugby at Bath said of the signing: “Darren is a strong player, and he’ll bring a fresh outlook to the squad. We’re a bit light at scrum-half due to the autumn internationals and injury, we wanted to bring someone in to the half-backs with a bit of experience, and Darren fits that bill really well.”
