Douglas Extends Contract with Bath Rugby

Bath Rugby is delighted to confirm that Levi Douglas has signed a contract extension with the Club.

The 22-year-old, who joined from French side Oyonnax, made his first team debut in the Aviva Premiership against Worcester in December 2015.

The tough tackling, physical lock has made 15 first team appearances, most recently last month against Toulon, where he made 15 tackles in 11 minutes as a replacement in the 26-21 victory.

Douglas said: “I’m massively excited about re-signing with Bath. As a young player, it’s a great Club to be at as you know that the coaches will give you opportunities and everyone has a role in taking the team forward. With the amount of development I’ve had in the first 18 months at Bath, I’m looking forward to seeing how much I can progress over the next two years, and competing for a regular place in the team.”

Director of Rugby, Todd Blackadder added: “Levi is a player with huge potential, and at just 22, he’s got a big future in front of him.

“Working on the training field alongside the likes of Luke Charteris, Charlie Ewels and Dave Attwood will only aid his development, and I’m looking forward to seeing Levi push on over the next few years.”
