Flying Pig backs Bath Rugby Foundation's Italian adventure

Bath-based firm the Flying Pig Renovation Company has once again thrown its full support behind Bath Rugby Foundation.

The Foundation’s annual fundraising cycle ride begins in four weeks, when 100 cyclists will take to the Italian countryside.

For the second year in a row the event has been sponsored by Bath-based firm, the Flying Pig Renovation Company. And, once again, as well as backing the cycle ride with sponsorship, The Flying Pig Renovation Company directors Andy and Kye Paradise will also be taking part.

Based on Locksbrook Road in Bath, The Flying Pig Renovation Company specialises in the renovation of prestigious, period properties in and around the World Heritage City.

Flying Pig are also supporters of Bath Rugby and have sponsored Bath second row, Elliott Stooke, for the past two seasons.

The Flying Pig Renovations Company Director, Andy Paradise, said: “We’re very pleased to be able to support Bath Rugby Foundation once again.

“We are a Bath-based company and we are Bath born and bred so we are delighted to be able to support a charity that does so much work to help vulnerable children in our city.

Fellow Flying Pig Renovations Company Director, Kye Paradise, added: “It was great to be a part of the Foundation’s cycling event in France last year and we’re looking forward to joinig the team again in Italy next month.

“The Giro di Toscana is going to be a lot of fun too and hopefully we can raise a lot of money for Bath Rugby Foundation.

Bath Rugby Foundation CEO, Lynne Fernquest, said: “Events like this simply couldn’t happen without the support of the people of Bath.

“The team at Flying Pig are great supporters of Bath Rugby Foundation and it is this backing that allows us to continue to support the vulnerable young people of Bath. “And it is not just the sponsorship that we have to thank The Flying Pig Renovation Company for – they are also taking part in the ride, really putting in the effort to make sure as much money is raised as possible.
