George Rigg signs contract extension at Bath City

Bath City midfielder George Rigg has signed a one-year contract extension at the club.

The deal will keep him at Twerton Park until the end of the 2017-18 season which will delight all those connected with the Romans.

Rigg only joined the club in May from Weymouth but has made an immediate impact on the fans of City and its management staff with a string of impressive performances which has seen him get tied down for a further year.

It was understood Football League clubs were monitoring 23-year-old Rigg, who was once on the books of Premier League Stoke City but despite the high demand, Rigg is right at home with Bath.
