RNLI Raft Race 2026

RNLI Raft Race 2026 is a fundraising raft race event at Marine Lake in Weston-super-Mare featuring local heats, children’s races and a trophy race.

Date: Saturday, 1 August 2026

Time: 1.00pm - 3.00pm

Overview: A community raft race supporting RNLI, with multiple race formats including local heats, children’s races, a paddleboard race and a “Beat the Lifeboat” trophy race. Rafts must be human-powered and removed from the water with no waste left behind.

Pricing: Each 4-person raft: £25. Children and paddleboard race: Free.

• 1.00pm - 1.45pm Local heats
• 1.45pm - 2.00pm Children’s races
• 2.00pm - 2.15pm Paddleboarders race
• 2.15pm - 2.45pm Grand race – Beat the Lifeboat Raft
• 2.45pm - 3.00pm Last person on the raft (time permitting)
