Robbie Fruean set to be sidelined for three to four weeks

Robbie Fruean, who joined Bath Rugby at the end of October, will have to wait a little longer for his debut for the club.

The New Zealander has now joined up with his new teammates following the culmination of the Mitre Cup, which he competed in for Hawkes Bay.

However, he has been struck with a hamstring injury that has delayed his debut for his new club.

"My fitness is not too bad, it is more the fact that I have been playing with a dodgy hamstring in a New Zealand competition," Fruean told the local media on Monday afternoon.

"So the physios have just been trying to recondition my hamstring and make sure that I'm fully 100 per cent before I hit the straps."
