Nutritional therapist raises more than £680 for community charity

Caroline Peyton, the qualified nutritional therapist and naturopath behind Peyton Principles, has continued a fundraising initiative for Gloucestershire-based charity The Churn Project, by raising £426 through an online auction of ‘healthy’ goods.

The auction had 15 lots and featured a range of high quality products regularly used and recommended by Caroline in her clinical practice. Caroline runs her clinics in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire for 11 years as well as increasingly working with clients through online consultations.

“I’m so humbled that my clients and contacts supported this latest fundraising project. I was thrilled to raise so much towards my ultimate target of £1,000 in 2021. To date I’ve raised more than £680,” she said.

Caroline has pledged to raise £1,000 for The Churn Project this year through a series of activities. The auction is the second of these events, following on from a successful two-week nutrition programme in March.

“I was aware of The Churn Project’s work helping to support the most vulnerable and marginalised people of the Cirencester area, aiming to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing. I’m committed to raising funds for this worthwhile cause in the most difficult year we could have imagined,” she said.

Caroline is a founder member of the Naturopathic Nutrition Association (NNA) a professional association for nutritional therapists. She graduated with a Diploma in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy in 2009, before setting up her own practice a year later. Caroline runs her clinics in Cirencester, another in Kempsford and a third in Swindon’s Old Town as well as offering online consultations to the wider community. She specialises in nutritional therapy, gut and digestive issues and is an advocate of wellbeing in the workplace.
