Spanish Chef Omar Allibhoy joins forces with Estrella Galicia for an evening of Galician Tapas and Beer at Tapas Revolution Bath

Tapas Revolution Bath is delighted to announce that founder and TV Chef Omar Allibhoy will be hosting an intimate supper club of Galician Tapas paired with a selection of beer from Estella Galicia on Wednesday 27th February.

Omar has designed a bespoke sharing menu with a Galician essence and ingredients that will be complimented by several beers from the award winning Spanish brewery. The dinner will comprise of an eight-course tapas style menu paired with Estrella Galicia 4.7%, 1906 Reserva, and 1906 Black Coupage. Highlights from the menu include Galician Octopus served with Potatoes and Smoked Paprika, Smoked Chorizo stewed in Estrella Galicia beer, and Chocolate Fondant made with 1906 Black Coupage beer topped with Raspberries. The evening will be hosted by Omar and a beer expert from Estrella Galicia who will be introducing each tapas dish from the Galician-inspired menu and providing guests with pointers on how to perfectly pair food with beer.

Omar says: “We’re excited to be collaborating with Estrella Galicia to showcase a beautiful part of Spain. It will be an honour for us to bring the essence of Estrella Galicia to Bath and give guests the chance to learn how to perfectly pair beer with tapas in true Galician fashion. Between the food, beer and music, you’ll be transported from Bath to Northern Spain.”

After opening his first restaurant in 2010, Omar has successfully spread his ‘Tapas Revolution’ throughout seven cities in the UK and has been dubbed the ‘Antonio Banderas of cooking’ by Gordon Ramsay and a ‘crusader for Spanish food and culture’ back in his home country. Omar is committed to being at the forefront of representing the wonderful produce of Spain in the UK and has partnered with Estrella Galicia to create an exclusive food and beer pairing menu at Tapas Revolution Bath. This unique dining experience will celebrate the culture, history and quality of Spanish beer and food with two of the UK’s favourite Spanish brands at the helm.

The supper club hosted by Omar Allibhoy and Estrella Galicia will take place at Tapas Revolution Bath on Wednesday 27th February 2019 from 7:30pm onwards.
