25 years of business.

2017 marks 25 years of business for Bath’s Green Park Brasserie. The restaurant owned by Bath born and bred local Andrew Peters has been flying the flag for Bath’s independent restaurant scene since 1992.

Fantastic food, friendly service and a lively atmosphere are the key elements Peters puts down to the Brasserie’s success.

Peters said: "We've always had the mindset of 'how can we make people happy?' With fantastic food and live music in our historic setting we really create quite a unique atmosphere. We’re fortunate to have the Bath Farmers’ Market on our doorstep. With some of Somerset’s best farmers and producers metres from our kitchen, it’s even easier to work with fresh, local produce which our customers love.”

Over the 25 years Peters has expanded the business, adding the Bath Function Rooms and most recently Bath Pizza Company to the business’ portfolio.

Peters said: “Green Park Station is thriving. The landscape of Bath’s footfall is changing as the west side of the city centre developed. We’re proud to be championing independent dining in Bath, when the city has become saturated with chains.”

Bath Function Rooms sits above the Brasserie and caters for weddings, corporate events, parties and private dining. The private events space can hold up to 140 people.

Bath Pizza Company which opened in March 2016 has developed its reputation for outstanding wood fired pizza in a quirky setting in the former Victorian station.

Peters said: “The dining out experience has changed hugely in recent years. People are generally planning where they are going based solely on specifically what they want to eat - they know exactly what they want before they’ve left the house - rather than going to a restaurant and browsing the menu.’ We’re lucky to have a very loyal customer base and a great team working across the businesses. Reaching the quarter of a century milestone is testament to our staff, musicians and producers and suppliers.

Green Park Brasserie will be holding a summer party for friends and family later this year to celebrate.
