£15 Locals Night in Bath as The Coconut Tree launches summer menu

Authentic Sri Lankan restaurant The Coconut Tree (TCT) Bath is introducing a new summer menu, alongside a £15 Locals Night to welcome its customers for midweek dining in the city.

From Thursday 30th April 2026 the restaurant located on Broad Street will introduce a range of new island inspired dishes adding to the ever popular existing menu, known for its big flavours, sharing plates and numerous veggie, vegan and gluten free options.

To mark the launch, The Coconut Tree is hosting a Locals Night every Thursday throughout May, starting from May 7th. Customers can pick any short eat, curry or devilled dish and kotthu, salad or side from the menu for just £15 per person, when purchasing a drink.

The star of the show on the summer menu is Kotthu, a traditional Sri Lankan stir-fried street food dish made with shredded flatbread, aromatic spices, fresh spices and meat, eggs or seafood – all chopped together on a heavy iron griddle. The Kotthu will now be available with additions of cheese and for meat eaters, roasted chicken on the bone.

Shamil Fernando, Co-Founder at TCT comments, "Our new summer menu brings all the flavours of Sri Lanka that we love. We wanted to launch it with something that gives back to people who support us year-round. Locals Night is our way of making a mid-week meal accessible and bringing people together. For our regulars and new customers both, Thursday nights in May are officially about great food, even better value combined with warm Sri Lankan hospitality”.

With Bath’s food scene continuing to grow, the Locals Night taps into the increasing demand for value-led dining experiences that still deliver on quality and atmosphere.
