REVIEW: Bath Pizza Co, one of Bath’s best independent pizza spots

Earlier this week, we were very kindly invited along to Bath Pizza Co, an independent pizzeria located in the bright and vibrant Green Park Station, to review their delicious pizza menu.

We have visited Green Park Station several times and there is always a lovely feel about it – a lively yet relaxing atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly chefs and waitresses who pointed us in the right direction, and asked us where we’d like to sit. We chose a sunny spot on the terrace, which was beautifully decorated with fairy lights and summer flowers.

The waitress was very attentive, giving us plenty of time to scan the menus for drinks and eats. The menu itself is much more varied than we perhaps expected, with plenty of both classic and unique pizza options, a great number of sides and a superb drinks menu.

We opted for an Aperol Spritz and a classic coke, as well as the American Hot pizza which consisted of tomato, mozzarella, ground beef, pepperoni, jalapeno chillies and onion, and a Hawaiian pizza, which was topped with mozzarella, tomato, prosciutto and roasted pineapple.

Both the pizzas were freshly cooked to order and certainly lived up to their award-winning reputation. They were thin, Italian woodfired style and very clearly created with fresh ingredients and along with a side of delicious garlic bread, we almost demolished the lot!

We did however have a few slices which we couldn’t quite finish, so our waitress kindly offered us some takeaway boxes so that we could finish them later. We were left feeling very satisfied with our lunch and we can’t wait to return to Bath Pizza Co to try some more of their delicious pizzas – we recommend that you give them a try too!
