Dark Skies Stargazing Event at the Herschel Museum

Visit the Herschel Museum of Astronomy to stargaze with the Bath Astronomers from the very garden William Herschel discovered the Planet Uranus on the 13th March 1781.

The astronomers will discuss about appreciating dark skies and the impact of light pollution, as well as all things related to astronomy and the Herschels’.

Please Note: This event will go ahead even if the weather does not permit observing, as the museum will be open to explore and the Bath Astronomers will provide talks and tours with museum staff. The Museum is on three floors of an 18th century grade listed townhouse, with access to the first floor and basement/garden by stairs only.
