Lunar New Year Planetarium Show - Herschel Museum of Astronomy

Take a trip into space this lunar new year, with a specially created family planetarium show at Bath Central Library.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the night sky as we explore the legends and traditions of this special festival and discover what stars and planets you can see in the sky tonight. After the show, join in with family craft activities and make a lunar new year decoration to take home.

The planetarium shows are being held as part of the Lunar New Year celebration, organised by the Museum of East Asian Art and the Herschel Museum of Astronomy.

The show will last approximately 40 minutes but please allow an hour to enjoy the crafts.

Suitable for ages 5+

£2.50 per person.

Session times:

• Session 1 – 10:30-11:15
• Session 2 – 11:45-12:30
• Session 3 – 1:30-2:15
• Session 4 – 2:45-3:30
