The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain: Summer Concert 2026

A large-scale youth brass concert showcasing over 90 of Britain’s top young brass and percussion musicians, led by guest conductor Lieutenant Colonel Lauren Petritz-Watts.

The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain returns to Bath Forum for Summer Concert 2026 on Sat 8 Aug 2026.

With over 70 years of nurturing Britain’s brightest young brass and percussion talent, the NYBBGB brings together over 90 young musicians for a summer performance exploring the theme Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. The programme includes classics, dazzling solos and world premières, including new works by Simon Dobson and NYBBGB President Maestro Martyn Brabbins.

The concert is led by guest conductor Lieutenant Colonel Lauren Petritz-Watts, Principal Director of Music (Army) in the Royal Corps of Army Music.
