Archaeology Adventures - May Half Term

A hands-on archaeology add-on at the Roman Baths during May half term, where children can dig for replica Roman artefacts and learn how archaeologists record and identify finds.

Time window: 11.00am to 1.00pm

Archaeology Adventures offers children an excavation-style experience at the Roman Baths. Participants can dig for replica Roman artefacts and learn how archaeologists uncover, identify and record discoveries.

Sessions: available at 11.00am and 12.00pm

Important information:

• This activity is an add-on to a Roman Baths visit; a Roman Baths admission ticket and a separate Archaeology Adventures ticket are required.
• Museum entry should be booked at least one hour before the session start time.
• Meet the Roman Baths Learning Team by the Great Bath at the start of the session.
• Recommended age: 6–12; children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Spaces are limited and advance booking is strongly recommended.
