This practical workshop introduces beginners to using a range of small power and hand tools, including drills, sanders, jigsaws, hammers and screwdrivers. The session focuses on safe setup and correct technique, building confidence for everyday DIY tasks.
Participants will learn how to:
- Choose the right tool for the job
- Set up tools for different materials
- Use a cordless drill for everyday tasks (such as putting up a shelf)
- Understand wall types and fixings
- Work safely and avoid common issues
Experienced craftspeople provide demonstrations and one-to-one support. Tools are provided, and attendees may bring their own tools for specific advice. This is not a certified course and is not intended for professionals.
