Mythology & Code Breaking Classics Masterclass

A Classics masterclass for girls in Years 4–6 featuring Harry Potter-inspired code-cracking, Greek mythology and a creative bookmark-making activity.

This Classics Masterclass introduces participants to Latin and Ancient Greek through Harry Potter-inspired code-breaking and mythology-themed activities. The session is designed for girls in Years 4–6 (from any school).

Participants explore Latin meanings behind names and spells, use the Greek alphabet to decipher messages, learn about Greek mythology, and create a themed bookmark to take home.

Optional dress-up as a favourite Harry Potter character is welcomed.

Timetable:

• 10.00am – Arrival and registration (refreshments available for parents)
• 10.15am – Session 1 (Code-breaking or Mythology)
• 11.15am – Break and refreshments
• 11.30am – Session 2 (Mythology or Code-breaking)
• 12.15–12.30pm – Collection and departure
