Riding the euphoric wave that's been generated in the recent past by events like the London Olympics and the  Tour De France having stages in the UK, the Tour of Britain added to an already burgeoning list of greatness. Bathonians enjoyed this a lot closer to home, because Round 6 of the tour began in Bath City centre, and finished in Hemel Hemstead.

With a number of events throughout the UK, the Bath to Hemel Hemstead race will be the best on their calender. With all of the tremendous sites that Bath and its surrounding areas offered both participants and spectators, it was a race like no other.
