The Barn Show

Set on a working farm in the picturesque village of Upton Cheyney, 'The Barn Show' art exhibition is taking place for the very first time on Saturday 5th June 2021. The show has been put together by Manor Farm's resident artists Charlie Adams and Nicholas H. Wood, who have teamed up with Manor Farm and 12 talented artists to celebrate the return of the arts to the West Country! Exhibiting impressive outdoor sculptures, wild landscapes, abstract paintings and sight-size portraiture, The Barn Show will be an eclectic spectacle open to all with something for everybody.

The idea for the show came about one late night in Charlie and Nick's studio, where the artists, newly moved in, shivered in winter coats by a small fan heater and imagined the possibilities of a post lockdown world. The thought of an exhibition on a summer's evening with real guests, original art, good food and flowing drinks felt like a halcyon dream and so the pair set their minds on creating an event to remember, not only for themselves and fellow artists, but for friends, family and the local community.

The Barn Show will be on Saturday 5th June at Manor Farm, Upton Cheyney from 5pm - 9pm. If you can't make the preview night, the exhibition will be open to the public for the entire week after, from 10am - 4pm.
