Bath Rugby name team for season opener

Bath Rugby get their 2016-17 campaign underway at Northampton Saints tomorrow, and they have named their squad for the encounter.

It will be the first time captain Matt Garvey leads out the Blue, Black and White since being appointed skipper by new Director of Rugby Todd Blackadder.

There will be debuts for Kahn Fotuali'i and Taulupe Faletau, who joined from Northampton and Newport respectively.

Fotuali is included in the midfield which will also feature George Ford, Max Clark, and Jonathan Joseph while Matt Banahan and Semesa Rokoduguni will occupy the wings with Tom Homer at fullback.

The front row will consist of Nathan Catt, Ross Batty and Henry Thomas and the second row will be just as strong due to Charlie Ewels and Dave Attwood.
