Bath Rugby sign Shaun Knight on loan

Bath Rugby have today announced the loan signing of tighthead prop Shaun Knight from Newport Gwent Dragons.

Knight will be at the Recreation Ground until the rest of the season and will be eligible for Bath's trip to Gloucester at the weekend.

He made over 20 appearances in the Pro 12 last campaign and, coincidentally, featured over 80 times for upcoming oppenents Gloucester.

The 26-year-old was also a member of the England junior World Cup team in 2009 and 2010.

First Team coach Toby Booth said of the signing: "Shaun is a very strong scrummager and we are excited to see how he continues to develop now he is with us.

"We have got some very good props within the squad, and Shaun adds to that strength in depth and competition for places."
