Cycle from Bath to Gloucester to support the Blue, Black and White

Bath Rugby Foundation are putting on a charity bike ride from Bath to Gloucester and back again for Bath Rugby's trip against Gloucester.

For £175 riders will get a match ticket, luggage transfers, hotel accommodation, and the warm glow of that charitable feeling that a 100-mile round trip can bring.

The foundation has put on a number of highly-successful bike rides of the past few years.

Bath Rugby Club President and ex-Bath legend David Trick said: "I have developed a new-found joy of pedalling the roads in and around Bath and wanted to create a ride which would be challenging, but fun.

"There is something special about an experience when a reasonable degree of discomfort and fatigue alongside some side-splitting laughter has been shared with a group of people and hopefully this challenge will be no different.

"It is a real pleasure to raise funds for those who need it most."

The aim of the Bath Rugby Foundation is to empower young people in Bath and the surrounding areas. They use the values of rugby to inspire young people to create a better future for themselves.
