George Ford linked to move to Wasps

Bath Rugby fly-half George Ford is subject to rumours linking him with a move to Wasps.

Reports have been swirling around Ford since his dad Mike was dismissed by Bath following a disappointing campaign last year which saw the Blue, Black and White finish ninth in the Aviva Premiership.

Since then, Ford has seemed really happy at the club, according to his Director of Rugby Todd Blackadder but has gone on to activate the release clause in his contract that will allow him to leave the Recreation Ground at the end of this season should he so wish.

Bath are currently 2nd in the league while Wasps are not far behind in third.

Ford has just finished the latest period away from Bath on international duty in which he helped England finish 2016 unbeaten.

Bath's next game is a trip to Cardiff on Saturday to play the Blues in the first of two back-to-back games against them in the European Challenge Cup.
